The share of value added by the manufacturing industry to the gross domestic product in Peru increased by 0.4 percentage points (+3.31 percent) since the previous year. In total, the share amounted to 12.45 percent in 2022. This increase was preceded by a declining share. These figures refer to the share of total gross domestic product (GDP) made up by manufacturing output.
Data represents the share of value added to GDP by the manufacturing sector. Value added is the value of the gross output of producers minus the value of intermediate goods and services consumed in production. Figures have been rounded.
