Top countries for remittances sent to overseas teens from South Korea 2018, by amount
According to an analysis of remittances in South Korea in 2018, the U.S. was the top destination country for remittances being sent to overseas South Korean teenagers from South Korea, with remittances per capita amounting to around 49 thousand U.S. dollars. South Korean teenagers in general received more remittances than other age groups, in particular showing the highest figures for remittances to or from the U.S. across all age groups.
