Barriers to sustainable living in Denmark 2019
The highest share of Danes were hesitant to live more sustainable due to the price level, as 26 percent of respondents judged sustainability as too expensive in 2019. Lack of knowledge about which actions to take was the second biggest reason for hesitance towards sustainable living with 23 percent of respondents. A lack of knowledge of the importance as well as no focus of their social circle were the least frequent reasons with just eight and five percent of respondents respectively.
