Tourism direct contribution as share of GDP Singapore 1995-2029

In 2019, the direct contribution to Singapore's GDP from tourism was around four percent. This was forecasted to increase to 4.04 percent in 2020. However, with the unforeseen outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the direct contribution to tourism as a share of GDP would most likely decrease, as the tourism sector had been hard hit by the virus outbreak.
