Non-alcoholic beer is booming in the Netherlands. Between 2016 and 2018, the sales volume of what in Dutch is referred to as alcoholvrij bier (or alcohol-free beer) reached growth figures of over 15 percent each year. Growth was strongest in the last reported year, 2018. In 2018, alcohol-free beer sales increased by over 30 percent.
