Out of a total of 1.64 million hectares of land allotted for horticulture in Andhra Pradesh, the largest share of cultivation land, at 795 thousand hectares was reserved for the production of fruits in the financial year 2023. Plantation crops followed , while land area for aromatic and medicinal crops ranked lowest in the Indian state.
