New Zealand - number of remarriages 2019

In 2019, around 5.3 thousand marriages and civil unions were registered in New Zealand where one or both partners had been previously married or in a civil union. The first civil unions in the country were celebrated in 2005, and the first same-sex marriages were celebrated in 2013.
