The German multinational bank, Deutsche Bank AG, had deposits in India worth over 560 billion Indian rupees at the end of fiscal year 2019. This was around 474 billion rupees in the previous fiscal year, indicating a a substantial increase in deposits to the foreign bank.
Deutsche Bank established its first branch in India in the year 1980 and operates in over 16 cities today.
