Reasons to use plastic when buying food and drink Indonesia by age 2019
According to a survey conducted among Indonesian consumers in September 2019, most of the respondents from all age groups used plastic because it came in handy. Indonesia was mentioned as the world’s second-largest plastic polluters of the ocean and furthermore deforestation of peatlands made Indonesia the world's third largest emitter of greenhouse gases. But the rise of social media made Indonesians more aware of current environmental issues. Some of the plastic-related crisis have become trending topics in social media in Indonesia.
