India: economic contribution of inland fish

Inland fish made up about 783 billion Indian rupees in gross valued added to agriculture within the fishing sector across India in fiscal year 2020. The GVA from this sub-sector increased consistently since fiscal year 2012. Fishing made up over 1.5 trillion rupees in GVA towards to the Indian economy that fiscal year.
