Gross value added from turmeric in Jammu and Kashmir India FY 2012-2018

Turmeric from Jammu and Kashmir accounted for 1.6 million Indian rupees in the Indian economy in fiscal year 2018. This value was slightly lower than the previous year's contribution of turmeric from the state. Maharashtra was the largest contributor for turmeric to the agricultural gross value added among other states in the south Asian country, followed by Telangana.
