Share of piano players among instrument players in France in 2017, by age group
This statistic shows the share of French people who learned to play a piano among all French instrument players in 2017, by age group. In that year, half of the respondents aged 18 to 24 who knew how to play an instrument had learned to play the piano. In comparison, among all musical instrument players between the ages of 50 and 64, about a third could play the piano.
