Wind turbines have evolved in the last decades to improve their efficiency and reduce costs in energy-generating systems. In 2018, the diameter of an average onshore wind turbine rotor was around 110.40 meters, producing a rating of 2.6 megawatts. Between 2022 and 2025, this figure is expected to increase, reaching approximately 170 meters with generation ratings increasing as well.
