International business tourist visits to the UK 2019, by purpose
Most business trips to the UK in 2019 concerned small business meetings. Small meetings involving up to five people accounted for almost 1.9 million visits, while roughly 1.5 million visits were made for meetings including six to 20 people. Meanwhile, inbound business tourists in the UK took approximately 1.8 million visits for MICE reasons (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
