Value of NBA posts tagging NFT brands worldwide 2021

As of November 2021, seven cryptocurrency and NFT brands worldwide had signed an NBA partnership. While the league itself announced Coinbase as the exclusive cryptocurrency platform partner for the 2021/2022 season, another six brands from the crypto and NFT market partnered with one or more NBA teams. According to an analysis conducted between October 19 and November 17, 2021, NBA social media posts including tags to the brand Crypto.com, which represents the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers, generated a value of roughly 210 thousand U.S. dollars. As of the same period, posts tagging the NFT brand Socios - partner with 24 of 30 NBA teams - reported a value of over 181 thousand U.S. dollars.
