Netherlands: distribution of 50PLUS voters, by level of education 2019

50PLUS is the Netherlands' political party for older citizens. What they have in common is mostly their age, but in terms of education level there are some interesting features to distinguish the 50PLUS electorate as well. Compared to the average population in the Netherlands, the lower and middle education levels are overrepresented, and the higher education level is underrepresented. Whereas of the total population of the Netherlands, 22 percent have a lower education level, 35 percent of 50PLUS voters have this.
