Global atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide 2017-2019

The atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide have been steadily rising over the last decades. Emissions of carbon dioxide largely come from human activities such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation. In December 2019, carbon dioxide levels reached 412 parts per million, in comparison to December 2017 levels which stood at about 407 parts per million.
