Distribution of participation insurance companies worldwide 2018, by region
In 2018, the share of participation insurance companies in Middle East adn North Africa amounted to 26 percent. The Gulf Cooperation Council region has about 27 percent of the participation companies. In the same year, the total number of participation insurance operators amounted to 306 operators.
