U.S. consumers' willingness to pay for environmentally safe home furnishings 2019

In 2019, 24 percent of consumers in the United States stated that they are not willing to pay more for environmentally-friendly home furnishings. 76 percent of home furnishing consumers stated otherwise, with 31 percent willing to pay up to 5 percent more for home furnishings that were certified to be legitimately environmentally safe and had a style they liked.

How much more would you be willing to pay, if necessary, to buy home furnishings that were certified to be legitimately environmentally safe and you liked the style?
