Share of pre committed expenses in French household consumption 1960-2022
This graph depicts the percentage of pre committed spending as a percentage of household final consumption expenditure in France from 1960 to 2021. It can thus be seen that the pre committed expenditure of French households accounted for less than 30 percent of final consumption expenditure until 1990. But since 2006, the share of pre committed expenditure has never been less than 33 percent and has actually reached 36 percent.
