According to a university ranking for the year 2022, the university which ranked the highest in terms of its employer reputation score from all the universities in mainland China was Tsinghua University, which scored 98.8 points. Five Chinese universities ranked quite high with scores over 80 points, while the scores of all other Chinese universities were below 50 points.

The employer reputation score is based on approximately 45 thousand survey responses asking employers to choose the universities from which they get the most competent and innovative graduates.
