Time when people first learnt about new coronavirus outbreak in rural China 2020
According to a survey on the coronavirus COVID-19 impact on rural China in late January 2020, around 64.6 percent of the respondents living in small towns and villages were first informed about the outbreak between the 1st and 22nd of January. The swift spread of the virus, first detected in early December 2019 in Wuhan, has caused a huge impact on the daily life of Chinese people.
