Latin America: secondary education repetition rate in select countries 2018
Among the Latin American countries with available data, Argentina had the highest repetition rate of secondary school students in 2018. It was estimated that nearly 11 percent of students enrolled in a lower secondary school in Argentina had repeated the grade in that year. Mexico held the lowest percentage of repeaters at this educational level, with only 0.9 percent.
