Breakdown of solar PV energy self-consumption installations in France 2022, by type
In 2022, the vast majority of solar photovoltaic power installations in self-consumption in France were with storage and injection of the energy surplus to the grid. Only eight percent of the total was without injection of the surplus, with or without storage.
Of the total solar PV installed capacity in France in 2022, only around 80 megawatts were in self-consumption installations.
