Population reading printed newspapers in Norway 2009-2019, by number of newspapers
The share of the Norwegian population who read printed newspapers generally decreased significantly from 2009 to 2019. In 2009, 20 percent of the Norwegians read two newspapers, while only seven percent read the same amount in 2019. Similarly, nine percent of the Norwegians read three or more newspapers in 2009, decreasing to two percent of readers ten years later.
