Average food delivery time in Poland 2019
The Sunday trading ban introduced in Poland contributed to the increase in orders from restaurants and improved the turnover of companies offering food delivery services, such as Uber Eats, Pizzaportal.pl, Pyszne.pl or Wolt. Source states that due to closed shops on Sundays, the number of delivery orders increased by an average of 31.7 percent compared to all other days in 2019. As far as the average delivery time is concerned, 29 percent of respondents replied that the average delivery time was between 20 and 45 minutes. Twenty-two percent stated they waited between 45 and 90 minutes for the food to be delivered.
