Lloyds Banking Group made underlying profits across all segments in 2022. Lloyds largest segment in terms of profit generation was retail banking, where the profits were close to 4.5 billion British pounds in 2022, down from approximately 5.1 billion British pounds in the previous year. This was also the segment with the largest decrease in profits, compared to 2021.
