Chrysler car registration number South Korea 1992-2019

In 2019, over ten thousand Chrysler cars were registered in South Korea and it was the highest number of registrations after Chryslers were introduced to the Korean market in 1992. Chryslers sold well in the 1990s, passing the one thousand-mark in 1995, just four years after they came to Korea, and doubling sales a year after that. However, as with the other imported car brands, sales dropped heavily following the 1997 Asian financial crisis. It was almost a decade before sales rose to the same levels as in 2005.
