Purpose of business visit in Utrecht 2017-2018
In 2017 and 2018, the majority of the visitors visiting Utrecht did so because of a trade fair or exhibition. Nearly 40 percent of the business visits had a trade fair or exhibition purpose, whereas 20 percent of the business tourists went to Utrecht because of a congress. Only one percent mentioned that visiting an educational institution was the reason for visiting Utrecht.
