In 2019, it was found that 31 percent of mental health patients in England agreed to feeling very safe in the care of the NHS mental health service provided, with a further 44 percent agreeing to an extent that they felt safe in the care. On the other hand, nine percent of respondents strongly disagreed to the statement.
