According to a study conducted in Italy in 2020, face moisturizers for women cost on average 57 percent more than those for men. Moreover, deodorants marketed to women were twice as expensive as deodorants targeted to men.
Additionally, in a survey of 2020, about 48 percent of respondents in Italy believed that products for women were more expensive than male and gender neutral products.
