Porn: opinion on the minimum age to access adult website France 2019

The survey assessed people's opinion on the average age at which pornographic websites should be prohibited for children in France in 2019. At the time of the survey, the age to which children were exposed to adults content was 13. The majority voted for 18 to be the age limit. The most voted range was between the ages of 15 to 18, with 10 percent voting for 15, 23 percent for 16 and three percent for 17. The general average opinion therefore lied at a prohibition below the age of 17. The survey was issued following the International Children's day (November 20th, 2019), where Emmanuel Macron announced that he would give internet operators six months to set up parental control as a default setting: when asked if they believed it was an essential measure, a total of 64 percent had agreed.
