Market share of shellfish imports to China 2018, by exporting country
In 2018, China imported around 1.6 billion Canadian dollars worth of shellfish products, registering a compound annual growth rate of 16.2 percent between 2014 and 2018. That year, Japan, Indonesia, and the United States were China's top three suppliers of shellfish products with a combined market share of nearly 55 percent.
