Opinions about the measures taken against Coronavirus in Northern Italy 2020
As of February 2020, 78 percent of the Italian population stated that the measures adopted against Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the North of Italy by the Ministry of Health and by regional governments, which included schools and public areas closures and events cancellation, were adequate. By contrast, the actions taken were considered excessive by 13 percent of the people interviewed.
