Annual U.S. precipitation by state 2019

2019 was a wet year for the contiguous United States with about four inches of precipitation more than usual. Wet states such as Florida, Georgia and Delaware typically saw the greatest increase in precipitation. On average, the United States received 30 inches of precipitation over the course of the year. Despite Nevada being the driest state in the 20th century, in 2019, New Mexico was ranked number one.
