In a survey conducted in Mexico, the majority of respondents said they agreed with the national strike #UnDíaSinNosotras ('One day without us') that was set to take place on March 9, 2020. One day after International Women's Day on March 8, feminist organizations and activists in Mexico organized a national strike to protest against gender violence. On average, 48.5 percent of respondents said they agreed with the strike taking place, although men disagreed more than women.
