The new coronavirus (2019-nCoV or COVID-19) outbreak would probably change Chinese people's consumption attitudes. According to a survey on the impact of the epidemic on the Chinese society released in February 2020, around 38 percent of the respondents said that they would try to save more money after the epidemic. About 20 percent of the respondents intended to earn more money in the future.
