
Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels as of January 9, 2023
As of January 9, 2023, the Belgian health authorities reported that over 4.6 million people had tested positive for COVID-19. From a regional perspective, almost 2.7 million positive test results were reported in Flanders. Wallonia faced the second-highest amount of positive cases with around 1.43 million confirmed cases, while the Brussels-Capital Region registered 503 thousand positive tests.
