Japan: opinion of people on the effect of Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on the country by age group 2019

In a survey conducted in December 2019 in Japan, more than 61 percent of respondents aged between 18 to 29 and 30 to 39 years old agreed that the Tokyo 2020 Olympics would have a positive impact on the country. A majority of the respondents among all age groups agreed to the statement.

The Summer Olympics were scheduled to take place between 24 July and 9 August in 2020, being held for the second time in the Japanese capital.
