Deviation in number of jobs created and government estimates India FY 1999-2019

India had a shortfall of about seven percent in the budget estimates of the number of jobs to be created that year compared to the actual jobs created in the financial year 2019. This indicated that the Indian government had failed to meet the targets of providing jobs as set in their budget estimates.
