Russian food self-sufficiency 2000-2018, by product category

Despite an over 30 percent reduction from 2017 to 2018, grains were the agricultural product whose production volume was marked far beyond national sufficiency levels over observed period. As for the remaining listed categories, the country accounted for a nearly absolute self-sufficiency for each, except for fruit and berries. National production of the latter was only sufficient for nearly one third of the total demand in Russia in 2018.
