Brazil: opinion on government's response to COVID-19 2021
As of May 2021, approximately one third of survey respondents in Brazil stated that the way the Ministry of Health in the country was dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic was good or great. A similar share believed the Ministry's response to be bad or terrible. Meanwhile, more than half of Brazilians surveyed disapproved the way president Jair Bolsonaro was dealing with the issue. At the time, the state governors' response to the pandemic was the best evaluated.
