COVID-19 impact on forecast notebook computer shipments worldwide during 2020

As per recent data, experts have revised their forecasts for notebook computer shipments in February 2020 from 10.8 million units down to 5.7 million units. Analysts have suggested that although the biggest impact was likely to be felt in the month of February, the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) will result in a reduction for the first quarter of 2020 as a whole. Previous forecasts predicted there to be 35 million units shipped during the quarter, but this has now been revised, with 27.5 million units now expected to be shipped.
