• Italy: most relevant food labelling info by age group 2020

A survey conducted in Italy in 2020 revealed that consumers aged between 35 and 44 years paid attention to nutritional facts more than consumers of other age groups. Moreover, 66 percent of 35-to-44-year-olds carefully read the ingredients reported on food labels. However, 74 and 73 percent of over-55-year-olds were the most interested in the product origin and food ingredients, respectively.
