Number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Iceland since February 2020

On November 24, 2020, nine cases of coronavirus were registered in Iceland. The first case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iceland was confirmed on February 28. The number of cases in Iceland has since risen to a total of 5,312. The number of cases per day started to increase significantly by the middle of March and lowered again by the beginning of April. There were very few or no new cases reported per day since the start of May. However, the numbers started to increase again by the end of July.
