Share of individuals consuming gluten-free products in Italy 2020, by gender

About one fourth of Italian female consumers consume gluten-free products, a survey from 2020 revealed. While 23 percent of Italian women stated they sometimes had gluten-free foods, five percent of them did it often. Male respondents reported lower percentage with only 22 percent of individuals consuming gluten-free products occasionally.
