COVID-19: approval of G7 governments' response 2020

According to a survey conducted towards the end of March 2020, the majority of citizens in G7 countries approve of their government's response to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). This number was highest in Italy, where 76 percent of respondents either strongly or somewhat approved of their government's efforts. Japan had the lowest approval rating at only 35 percent, however this was still higher than the 21 percent of Japanese respondents who either strongly or somewhat disapproved.
