Stockpiling behavior among U.S. consumers due to coronavirus outbreak March 2020

According to a survey conducted among primary grocery shoppers in the United States between March 13 and 15, 2020, more than half of respondents (54 percent) reported shopping for groceries that they expected would last them two weeks. Almost a fifth of respondents (19 percent) engaged in even more stockpiling behavior, buying groceries that they expected to last them three to four weeks.
