The coronavirus pandemic would have a significant impact on businesses in India according to a CIO survey carried out twice in March 2020. Almost 75 percent of the surveyed CIOs said that the return to normalcy will take at least between three and six months. This assessment increased in the second edition of the poll conducted between March 23 and 25, 2020. In the first edition from early March, about 41 percent said that in their opinion business operations would be back to normal in less than three months, a share that was down 27 percent in the second edition.
