The first case of a person infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Costa Rica was reported on March 6, 2020. One day earlier, 15.26 percent of Costa Rican population watched TV. Approximately three weeks and 230 reported cases later, on March 26, 2020, the share stood at 20.14 percent.
